The „Multi-Signal“ portable traffic light system is designed for signalisation at construction sites and crossroads. The system can be set to operate either as radio-linked, cable-linked or cableless system.
Up to 8 identical signal heads can be easily grouped in order to work as 2 phase-, junctionor crossroads systems. Each Multi-Signal system provides 5 different programmes (daytime and week-day dependent) as well as the operation modes “amber flashing” and “lamps off“. The increase of green times (traffic volume dependent), respectively the request for green time is possible via detectors and pedestrian push buttons. Traffic gap, increase of green time, minimum green time and priority can be individually set for each system. The signal heads can be manually operated (optional) with a remote cable hand set. The Multi-Signal System can be easily programmed via the terminal. Only a few parameters need to be set, as the most common programmes for 2 phase, junctions and crossroads are
already installed. The integrated calculator determines automatically the best suitable values based on the length of the construction site and clearance time. Error and actual mode indication are displayed as full text. The “Multi-Signal” corresponds to the European standard DIN EN 12368 and DIN EN 12675.
