About the Company
horizont ROLOS Sp. z o.o. has been operating on the market since 1992, with its headquarters located in Wyszków. We are part of the renowned German capital group, horizont Group, which prides itself on long-standing traditions and innovative solutions.
The horizont Group was founded in the late 1940s by Dr. Heinz Müller, one of the inventors of the artificial horizon used in aircraft cockpits. The company's name directly references this ground-breaking invention. Today, the horizont brand holds over 50 patents, utility models, and trademarks, and its market success is built upon continuous innovation.
Currently, the horizont Group is an international network of companies operating across many European countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Slovenia, and Denmark.
The Group's distribution and logistics center is located in Korbach, in the heart of Germany. Leveraging our experience, innovation, and global reach, we provide our customers with top-quality products that support livestock farming and road safety.

Establishment of the sole proprietorship "Dr. Heinz Müller, Electrical Engineering Workshop" by Dr. Heinz Müller. The company began its operations in a barn in Heskem, near Marburg.
Invention of the storage capacitor circuit and the commencement of the first-ever production of electric fencers (energizers) powered by low-maintenance dry batteries.
Inauguration of the new factory in Korbach under the name "horizont Gerätewerk Dr. Heinz Müller." The company received the prestigious DLG Award for the development of the U30/I dry battery device.
Development of the "Ultra-Automatic S" battery-powered device. Featuring a die-cast housing, it became one of the most successful products on the global market.

Dipl.-Ing. Robert Müller and his brother Dr. Rudolf Müller. After their father's death, Rudolf Müller took over the management.
The newly developed "horimaster" electric fencer with its patented 4x performance became a global sales success in the 1980s.
Foundation of the company "horizont agrartechnik" as a sales company for electric fencing and agricultural technology products.
Foundation of the company "horizont ROLOS" in Poland as a production facility for electric fencing accessories and a trading company in Eastern Europe.
Commissioning of a new high-bay warehouse with over 3,600 pallet spaces in Korbach.
Intelligent "horiSMART" devices are successfully introduced with "turbo after delay." After approximately 60 seconds, higher energy levels are automatically switched on if a fault occurs in the fence.
The companies HOTLINE ELECTRIC FENCING Ltd. (United Kingdom), CLAIR (Slovenia), and ADIC (France) are integrated into the horizont group.

Dipl.-Kfm. Steffen Müller, managing partner in the third generation, heads the "Gerätewerk Division."
Intelligent "GPS/SMS" devices enter the market. Status updates, remote control, and alarm notifications are sent via SMS in the event of a change in location.
70 years of horizont! This anniversary was celebrated with a massive "open day" that attracted numerous guests!
2016 horizont introduces a new logo across the entire company. Subsidiaries in England merge their operations. At the EuroTier trade fair, horizont presents the new SMART series of fencing devices. Business areas are renamed: Klemmfix becomes "Traffic Safety" and Agricultural Technology becomes "Animal Care."
