A company with many faces

The horizont Group consists of a network of companies, each specializing in its own field of activity.
The horizont Group currently employs over 550 people. Our horizont family consists of approximately 250 employees at our headquarters in Korbach. This includes about 30 trainees whom we are training in various professions.
To give you an insight into our company and corporate structure, we interviewed three of our employees from the Korbach facility. They share their personal impressions of horizont group GmbH.

After graduating from high school, I began an internship at Horizont. Upon completing my internship, I was hired, and in the years that followed, I earned a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics and was promoted to deputy team leader in our operational technology department. Overall, our company prioritizes its employees and the work environment. Horizont identifies each employee’s strengths and interests and promotes them individually so that everyone can have a very successful career—that’s what I particularly like about Horizont as an employer. 

In addition to my main responsibilities, I also handle complaint management and the improvement and suggestion program. In this role, I involve all employees in brainstorming sessions and decision-making processes—every employee has the opportunity to share their opinions and suggestions. Horizont is supported by a very collaborative and strong team that works together seamlessly—like a big family.
